An Initial Visit appointment is the first step to receiving treatment.

All initial appointments and consultations are completed virtually. After the initial visit, a follow up visit may be scheduled here for a clinic procedure.

For Virtual Appointments

Our appointment will occur virtually via Doxy.me.

  1. Step one: Schedule your appointment online. You will receive an email confirmation. You will also receive appointment reminders.

  2. Complete all necessary forms including intake and consent before your appointment time. This will allow me to review your information prior to your appointment so we will have more time to discuss your concerns.

  3. Please enter the room 5 minutes prior to your appointment via the link on the Contact page.

Before your virtual appointment…

Pick a comfortable, quiet and private location with adequate lighting. I do not recommend taking appointments in your vehicle or in a public space.

  1. Decide which device you will be using.

  2. Check your technology to be sure you have a strong Internet connection.

  3. Be sure that the camera and microphone are on and working.

  4. Make sure you have adequate natural lighting available for proper diagnosis.

On the day of your virtual appointment…

On the day of your appointment, get your technology ready and be sure your device is charged. Remind anyone else in the house that you should not be disturbed during your appointment time. For safety purposes, appointments will not be continued if the camera is not working or if the patient is driving.

Sign in here and get started 5 minutes before your appointment time. You’ll be placed in a virtual “waiting room,” and your clinician will start your appointment at the correct time. You will be charged to the card on file at the beginning of your appointment.

We are unable to offer technical assistance at this time. We may be able to help troubleshoot minor issues and will do our best to help you.

For Clinic Appointments

Your first follow up appointment will be scheduled at the end of your Virtual Initial Assessment, making you an established patient. Clinic appointments may be scheduled or rescheduled by any established patients online by clicking here.

The only service not requiring a Virtual Initial Assessment is Auricular Acupuncture for Resilience. This service is a series of 5 treatments.

Any other clinic appointments scheduled by non-established patients will be cancelled.

How will I know which service is for me?

We offer a free consultation to discover your needs and will match you with the program that makes the most sense.


Do offer telehealth out-of-state?

This depends upon the service. Anyone may purchase a webinar or virtual event for personal use.

Our coaching services are available to patients in the US with the exception of the following states: AK, CT, HI, IL, MI, MN, NV, NY, OR, & WA.

Herbal therapy prescriptions are only available to patients in Maryland & California.

Are visits covered by health insurance ?

I currently have a cash only practice. Insurance reimbursement may be available if you have out-of-network acupuncture benefits. We are able to provide documentation for submission, but are not able to verify benefits at this time. Please be aware that most insurance companies will only reimburse for pain management. Please speak with your healthcare administrator or your insurance company directly.

My doctor referred me. How do I start?

Once we receive your referral, we will reach out to you with the information provided to schedule an initial appointment. Your care will be coordinated with your referring physician and they will be provided with progress updates.

Can you come to my house?

I offer in-home, cash only treatments for clients referred by trusted friends. Please fill out the form on the Contact Me page.
