Headshot of Dr. Lynne Vance

Meet Dr. Lynne Vance, DACM…

I use my 23 years of integrative healthcare experience to help people feel more like themselves by addressing the effects of chronic stress. Modern life lacks connection…to nature, to each other, and to true healing. TCM provides a template for optimal health using nature as a guide. Restore your connection to nature and to yourself.

By working together, you can achieve your wellness goals by regulating your nervous system, healing your gut, and using tools for empowerment. Think of me as a wellness guide who connects your past, lifestyle, and behavior to your current situation.

I am committed to prevention and using gentle, natural methods that have far fewer side effects. In the hands of a qualified professional, natural treatment is safe and effective. Most treatments leverage physics instead of chemistry (drugs) and biology (surgery/physical therapy).

My treatment approach is also conservative…meaning I will not recommend hundreds of dollars of monthly supplements. Once you are back to balance, many herbs can be discontinued.

Education Details

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a comprehensive system of healthcare that has been practiced for centuries. Rooted in ancient philosophical principles, TCM views the body as a holistic entity where balance is key to health. The practice includes various modalities such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary therapy, and qigong to promote wellbeing. By focusing on the individual's unique constitution and restoring harmony within the body, TCM aims to not just treat symptoms but address the underlying causes of illness.

  • Functional medicine is a patient-centered approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness rather than just treating symptoms. By looking at the body as a whole system and taking into account factors such as genetics, environment, and lifestyle, functional medicine practitioners aim to create personalized treatment plans that promote optimal health and wellness. With an emphasis on prevention and addressing the underlying imbalances in the body, functional medicine offers a comprehensive and integrated approach to healthcare.

  • Holistic nursing is a patient-centered approach that focuses on treating the whole person - body, mind, and spirit. By combining traditional nursing care with alternative and complementary therapies, holistic nurses aim to promote healing and well-being in a comprehensive way. Emphasizing the connection between a patient's emotional, physical, and spiritual health, holistic nursing supports individuals in achieving optimal wellness. Holistic nurses view each patient as a unique individual, tailoring care plans to address not only physical symptoms but also emotional and spiritual needs. This integrative approach ensures that patients receive personalized, compassionate care that considers all aspects of their health and promotes healing on multiple levels.
