For LAcs seeking herbal treatment for patients

For licensed acupuncturists without herbal training, I will partner with you to enhance treatment outcomes. The addition of herbal formulas to acupuncture treatment is especially useful for deficiency syndromes of qi, blood, yin, and yang. Build trust with your patients by offering them the best possible combination of care by partnering with a provider who understands your patient’s needs.

After conducting an assessment with your patient, I will discuss my findings with you and return the patient to your care so you remain the primary provider. Consider me a supporting member on your healthcare team.

I wanted to talk about how I support functional medicine primary providers. As an IFM® AFMCP graduate, I am familiar with IFM® food plans, literature, and concepts.

I currently work in a military hospital treating active duty military and wounded warriors as an integrative medicine nurse & acupuncturist as part of a pain management team of providers. We have a 10-year history providing tele-health services to our patient population.

My job is to teach movement, mindfulness strategies, and coach our patients in anti-inflammatory nutrition. I work closely with my colleagues to co-manage our patient’s care virtually.

Healthcare Harmonics provides me the opportunity to extend my services to other functional medicine providers wanting to offer support for the most challenging aspect of functional medicine for our patients, lifestyle change.
